The patented LP-2750 uses American made stainless steel load cells that are sensitive up to 1/10,000th of an inch, in a concealed pod safe from the surface noise of your pool. When the float ball compresses the load cell, the LP-2750 takes very quick and precise measurements to determine water level changes and then converts this information into inches per day for our easy viewing and understanding. In two test periods, one with the pumps on and one with the pump s off, you can determine which part of your system is leaking; The suction, structure or the returns.After two tests, compare the results. If your results read the same leak rate, this indicates that the leak is in the structure of your pool or spa. If the results tell us the leak rate is greater with the pumps and equipment on, the leak is going to be in the returns side of the system. If the two tests read the the leak is greater with the equipment off, then then it is indicating the leak is the suction side. This tool ultimately eliminates the headaches and time of pressure testing each part of the system and allows you to effortlessly and rapidly identify where your leak is located.
